The part of AI adoption nobody sees enough
One of my favorite AI stories lately is about a retired engineering manager who got back into coding and realized AI gave him something more interesting than speed. It gave him the feeling of building again.
In his story, he talks about choosing programming languages and domains he does not already know, just to keep learning. Before AI, that process was slow and frustrating. After bringing in tools like Claude Code, the bottleneck shifted. He spent less energy typing and debugging every little thing, and more on architecture, specs, and clarity.
That is the part I think people still miss.
AI is useful for people with taste, judgment, ideas, and domain knowledge who used to get blocked by the mechanics. The better the direction, the better the output. If you know what problem you are solving and what good looks like, AI gets a lot more interesting.
That is why stories like this matter more to me than generic top 10 AI tools lists. Real adoption looks like one person getting unstuck and turning experience into something real.
